Posted on 1 March 2010

A Philadelphia Jury Acquitted a Philadelphia man of Sexual Assault charges today after slightly more than one hour of deliberations. The Defendant was charged with a continuing Sexual Assault upon his step daughter from ages of 5 through age 11.

Throughout a week of Trial attorney Perry de Marco, Sr., argued that the step daughter’s story was a malicious fabrication designed to punish her mother for what she, the step daughter, claimed were years of lack of emotional support.

Perry de Marco, Sr. also argued that the claims of the step daughter were designed as retaliation against her step father, the Defendant, because she was jealous of his relationship with her mother. The Jury agreed and found the Defendant Not Guilty of all charges.
